What Is Eyebrow Embroidery?

Look younger and spend less time getting ready in the morning with semi-permanent eyebrows. Eyebrow embroidery, also known as “Semi-Permanent Eyebrows” is becoming more and more popular among both men and women from all walks of life. Give yourself a natural, semi-permanent makeup look that complements your individual skin tone. They can gives you confidence, while giving you with a polished and well-presented look. So let’s see what are the different types of Semi-Permanent Eyeclosebrows available.

What is Powder Eyebrows?

Powder Brows, also known as Ombre Brow is a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that uses a small machine to place extremely thin dots of pigment into the skin. It mimic powder filled brows without harsh brow lines which provides great definition and depth to the eyebrows. This semi-permanent process will give you the perfect eyebrow shape, fill in sparse areas, and create a gradient effect. It can also be built from light to dark, depending on the client’s preference.

Who Is Best Suited for Powder Brows?

Powder brows works with most skin types, and it’s also the preferred technique for people with oily skin, as it typically lasts much longer than microblading. It is perfect for people who wants extra definition without the hassle of filling in the brows every day. Powder eyebrows generally last 18 to 24 months without additional touch ups, and you can enjoy them for months.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is another semi-permanent makeup technique used for the eyebrows. It involves using a hand-held microblade tool with fine needles to deposit  color pigment to the  epidermis layer for the skin, creating fine, realistic and natural hair strokes. Each new hair stroke that is drawn is meant to simulate the client natural eyebrows hair and seamlessly blend it with the client existing brows to add color and fullness resulting in a very natural look. Unlike a traditional tattoo, which is permanent, the coloring from microbladed eyebrows generally last 12 to 18 months, without the need to refresh them.

Who Is Best Suited for Microblading?

Microblading can be used on someone with little to no eyebrows by creating an illusion of a more defined and fuller brow. It is an ideal solution for clients who have patchy, thin, or uneven eyebrows and are looking for the most natural looking results. However, not everyone is a candidate for microblading and there are different elements to consider such as skin condition and health. It is generally suitable for clients with normal skin and small pores.

What is Combo Brows?

Combo Brows, also known as Hybrid Brows is a combination of Powder Brows and Mirobroading. Combining the two techniques creates full-bodied brows for those who have patchy or sparse brows, while the microblading technique leaves natural hair strokes, which are especially good for those who have thin brow hairs. It is great for normal to oily skin types.

What Else You Need To Know?

Semi-permanent eyebrow makeup technique is often a multi-step process, which includes an initial insertion of pigment, followed by a touch-up four to five weeks later that involves additional strokes where the pigment didn’t settle properly. Depending on your skin type and whether you follow through on aftercare instructions, sometimes a third or fourth session may be necessary. There’s no definite rule on the pigment fading process, and it really comes down to individual skin type and lifestyle. Fading occurs naturally over time from external factors such as exposure to the sun, and also internal factors such as the breakdown of pigments as your body metabolizes them out of your system. It is recommended to have yearly touch up to maintain the crispness and freshness of the color pigment for most people. Contact me for an appointment today.
